Just when Tribe fans thought they already had a great off season, the news keeps getting better. Cleveland signed center fielder Michael Bourn today with a four year contract worth 48 million, and an option for the fifth year.
The Indians now how have several options in the outfield with 3 true center fielders who could all start. There could be a trade involving Michael Brantley or Drew Stubbs, or even Nick Swisher to first base so Brantley, Bourn, and Stubbs could all start making for a very speedy outfield.
The Indians' offense is vastly improved with depth and several options at multiple positions. Both Swisher and Reynolds can play numerous positions, and the Indians also have Mike Aviles who can play just about anywhere on the field.
The only thing left for the Tribe is to add another piece to the starting rotation. The Indians' front office might have one more trick up their sleeve before the 2013 season officially begins. Stay tuned.
